The Hot Springs R/C Flying Club (HSRCFC) #676 is the AMA Club of the Month for August 2025. HSRCFC is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas and an AMA Gold Leader Club. The club operates inside Garland County Cedar Glades Park.
The club was originally called the Mid America America Radio Control Club back in 1983 located on the west side of Hot Springs at the Mid America Industrial Park. 10 years ago, the club moved to its current location inside the former Garland County Solid Waste Landfill on the north side of Hot Springs. After the landfill closed, the county slowly developed a county park around the area and included the flying site for the community. Flying is available daily between dawn to dusk with a dedicated group flying every Tuesday and Saturday morning.
The club's asphalt runway is 350' x 34'. Other amenities include covered picnic tables, large gravel parking lot, porta-potty, and an equipment storage shed.
Along with yearly fun-flys and open-house events for the community, the club has held fund raisers for local charity. Most recently, they support the . Last year, the local newspaper, The Sentinel-Record, recorded a to highlight the fun of model aviation during a junior member event at the park.
