The Hernando County R/C Club (AMA #26081) is a new Gold Leader club that is located in Masaryktown, Florida. It was established in 1980 and is currently home to approximately 50 members. Cliff Manspeaker Field is a 550 x 200 foot grass runway that supports a variety of model aircraft. The club advocates promoting the advancement of aeronautics as it relates to model radio control aircraft. They have an Intro Pilot program with several instructors to teach & guide those who have an interest in the hobby.
The club has an active schedule year round. These include many Fun Fly events on New Years day, President's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Veteran's Day. They also host a sanctioned Swap Meet in June.
